Vlad Suppish - Ein Zufälliges Glück (Berlin)

from Sounds from Germany by Cities and Memory

about

Berlin Sudkreuz station reimagined by Vlad Suppish.

"I do love Berlin. Been there twice, at Südkreuz Bahnhof as well. Was waiting there for my girlfriend to arrive by bus. I was slightly nervous, because the bus was running late and couldn't find precise spot for arrivals. Asked a random chap for help, he was from Australia and also was looking for buses but for departures instead.

"Together we've found the spot, had a nice chat with him, met my girlfriend and all the worries evaporated. And I had some great time in Berlin, as always.

"Lots of happy accidents and good memories. Hence the name of the piece is "ein zufälliges Glück" - an accidental happiness.

"I've decided against taking an obvious path (i.e. techno) but to make it a bit like my 'guilty pleasure' - Berlin school electronics only with rather modern sound.

"For me it reflects the nature of Berlin - rich with history but very modern and vibrant city of the future."
